BIG SKY COUNTRY

All of these landscape paintings, whether  impressionistic or abstract, are inspired by the incredible natural beauty of my native state of Montana, where I currently have one of my art studios. The state of Montana, Spanish word for mountains, is nicknamed  BIg Sky Country. Although the numerous mountains ranges are anywhere from 8,000 to over 12,000 feet, they looked dwarfed compared to the vast sky.

SHADES IN TIME

These paintings are inspired by the vast Montana skyscape at different times of the day and night, and in different weather conditions. Each painting in the series features variations on one color shade. To add positive energy to the paintings, the word, “thank you!” has been painted in script as a base layer in each of the paintings. These abstract skyscape paintings are available individually. However, they are designed to compliment each other, so they would also be dynamic if purchased as  a grouping of anywhere for two to eight paintings — in the colors of your choosing.

I am grateful to have an original art work by Randi Siu hanging in my dining room. Randi is one of those rare artists that has the ability to capture the gorgeous beauty of nature, while also incorporating a great deal of meaning in her work. She shares her lovely message of positive energy to the world through her art. Sienna Sunset is the first thing I see in the morning with my cup of coffee, and reminds me to be thankful for all of my blessings. Randi’s artwork is vibrant, and radiates the light and energy that comes from her soul, without barriers.
